Here at Casa Nora, we offer some additional activities to enhance your vacation: guided mountain bike tours, yoga classes, and scooter rentals.

- Mountain bike tours:

Being an avid mountain biker in Canada, Al took his love of biking to the desert, and has created three different guided tours: The Musipan Tour (1.5 hrs) which is a scenic ride through varying desert terrain from single track cactus trails, to salinas or salt flats, to coastal trail riding. The second tour better known at ‘The Killer Mountain Challenge’ is 2 hrs long, and as its name implies, includes at least one mountainous incline. The third tour called the ‘Macanao Tour’ is 4 hrs long, including transport to and from the environmentally protected riding area. This tour is a magnificent coastal ride, which includes a prepared lunch and refreshments. Each tour is US $40.00/person, and all tours leave Casa Nora at 7:00 am, and all bicycle rental gear is included. - Yoga

After a full day of windsurfing or kitesurfing, there is nothing better for sore muscles than stretching. At 7:00 am each morning, in the cool shade provided by the churuatta in the garden, a group of us prepare our minds and bodies for the sailing day ahead, by practicing Bryan Kest’s “Power Yoga”. Included in the US $10.00 price/class is a yoga mat, a towel and cold water.

- Scooter Rentals

Touring by scooter is a great way to explore all of the wonderful places that Margarita Island has to offer. Take a morning to scooter around Macanao, the western part of the island, which is an environmentally protected area with unspoiled beaches, quaint beachside villages, and a serene lagoon. Or, tour the eastern side of the island and discover colonial villages, ancient churches, and breathtaking vistas from the top of the mountain.
